On the beaches on Isla Muejres you can buy a variety of items from the vendors. You can buy tablecloths, handmade beaded necklaces, bracelets and ankle bracelets, silver jewelry. Food items are also very common, pepitas, nuts, fruit, and pastries but to me the oddest edible item for sale is cotton candy. Sticky cotton candy and sand do not make a good combination.
