I am still trying to take some good photos using the macro settings on my camera. I thought that I had taken a good one of the crispy snow pea dish at a Thai restaurant yesterday but when I looked at it on my computer it was blurry. Too bad because the colors in the dish were really vivid green (snow peas), white (onions)and red (peppers)
I took about 10 photos of shells and this is the best one I got.

Try going in on a different angle, maybe 5″ away or so. Give your camera time to focus before you shoot. Sometimes I depress the button halfway to let it focus and it doesn’t. So I release the button and do it again. It will focus. Keep practicing. You will be so glad you did!
Thanks Wayne. I will try some different angles this weekend. My macro photos taken outside seem to look better.
