Or can  you even say this house is “on” Isla as it sits surrounded by water?

This photo was taken last year.

This rock house has always intrigued me. I  understand that it is owned by one of the island’s prominent families. I saw some photos of the interior once of the party that was held there for the regatta’s boat captains. Not much of the house could be seen in those photos though.

I  can’t imagine how damp and sticky with sea spray everything must be. All electronics must have a really short life span. It is a sturdy house for sure having withstood a few very strong hurricanes.
