Take a trip with me to the Farmer’s Market, yes again

I love the Milwaukie Farmer’s Market. Yesterday I bought some local cherries, Oregonzola cheese from Rogue Creamery, smoked almonds from Carol’s Nuts & Candies and fresh local Chinook Salmon. The man selling the fish thanks every customer for supporting local Oregon fisherman. Supporting local businesses is what the farmer’s markets are all about.

Fruits galore!

All kinds of handmade pastas

Pretty flowers

Chinook Salmon

Canby Asparagas Farms - making a huge omelet

Pork quesadilla for breakfast

  1. I sometimes go to the Beaverton Farmers’ Market but it is SO packed you have to steel yourself from the throng to stop long enough to actually purchase stuff. I don’t go enough to get my game face, I guess. Is Milwaukie’s that busy?

    • THe Milwaukie Farmers Market can be jam packed too. I usually am there just after opening so it’s not too bad then. Once when I got there later I wanted to buy some produce but there were about 15 in people in line so I said forget it.

  2. Thanks for sharing! Beautiful photos & yummy food flowers!
