Happy six month wedding anniversary TnK

It was six months ago today that Tara and Kelly got married. It was a beautiful wedding. I still have the rose corsage that I wore on TnK’s wedding day in my refrigerator. I plan on keeping it until at least their one year anniversary. It makes me happy to see this corsage every time I open the fridge.

Can you tell my daughter likes snowmen?

The first Christmas that Tara lived by herself with no roommate she slowly bought a few Christmas decorations and ornaments. Over the next few years she kept adding more and more decorations and ornaments. Tara decided that she was going to have a themed Christmas since several things she had bought over those years were snowmen. Whenever I would see snowmen Christmas decorations I would stop and look for something unique that Tara would not buy for herself because it would be out of her price range. Over the years I have bought Tara a couple of nice snowmen snow globes, a couple of music snowman displays, a runner, welcome mat and a hand-blown glass ornament with the snowmen painted inside of it.
I was over at Tara and Kelly’s house today and took a few pictures of some of her snowmen. They were watching a movie and only had the Christmas lights on so it was little dark.

TnK have a houseguest – a Bulldog puppy

Tara and Kelly have “the girls” aka Whippets. But do not even think about referring to them as the “D” word. No, they are not dogs they are their girls. They took part in Tara and Kelly’s wedding a couple of months ago. Emmy and Bella are long legged, lean, do not smell like dogs and are very well behaved. Emmie and Bella are pedigreed show dogs that have never been shown.

For 10 days TnK are babysitting their friends Kim and Rob’s Bulldog while they are vacationing on Isla Mujeres. Tara said that the Bulldog, Remmie is so cute but she is everything the girls are not. Remmie is loud, hyper, burps like a person, short and chubby and smells like a dog. Remmie is in constant motion unlike Emmy and Bella. Bella does not like being in the same room as Remmie. Emmie gets a bit stressed by the constant noise and motion of Remmie even when Kelly is not playing with her.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl

Today is Tara’s 35th birthday. 9 months ago I didn’t know if she was going to live to have another birthday. Today is about celebrating Tara’s life.

We had some rough years when Tara was in her teens. It was a struggle at times to just be in the same house. Now that Tara is a grown woman we are great friends. Having nearly lost Tara twice has made me appreciate what a wonderful daughter she is.
So Happy Birthday baby girl! I hope you and Kelly are having a fantastic time at the Oregon coast on you belated honeymoon.

Rene’s fabulous photos from Tara and Kelly wedding

I thought that I was finished blogging about Tara and Kelly’s wedding last Saturday but I had to share these photos. These are just a few of the proof photos taken by Rene at the wedding. Rene did an absolutely amazing job! Tara is Rene’s supervisor at the credit union. Rene is building her portfolio so that she can take on some professional photo jobs. She would not let Tara pay her so we slipped some money into her purse.

I just learned how to post photos from Flickr to my blog. There must be away to post multiple photos to the same blog post but I did them individually then saved the photos to my computer an uploaded them to one blog post. All photos originally uploaded by Just Plain Ne’ http://www.flickr.com/photos/bluemoods/

Tara said she thanked Rene for taking the most beautiful photo ever of her best friend Cindy.
